LA Correctional Institute for Women is the only state-owned and operated correctional facility for women in the state. LA Women’s Missions and Ministry partners with the Baptist Association of Greater Baton Rouge (BAGBR) in an effort to share Christ within those walls. It is a meaningful and life-changing experience for both offenders housed at LCIW and for the volunteers.
Please email Christine Gill or call Women’s Missions and Ministry at 1.800.622.6549 or 318.449.4268 if additional information is needed about the gift box ministry for LCIW.
