Made to Multiply Gospel Conversation and Disciple-Making Training

God built multiplication into the fabric of every living thing. Fruits, vegetables, plants, trees, animals, and humans have the capacity to create more of the same. This biological principle can also be brought into the spiritual as well. Jesus commissioned his disciples to make more disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). One of Jesus’ purpose statements for us was to produce fruit (John 15:1-15) of Godly character and influence. Paul communicated a focused multiplication plan to Timothy, “What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).

If every believer has the capacity for multiplication, how do we do it?

This year, we have partnered with E3 Partners on a simple training called Made to Multiply. Made to Multiply is designed to get believers started down the path of multiplication. More than 500 people from 20 different churches have participated in this training this year.

Here’s what Made to Multiply offers:

  • A simple plan for reaching and discipling lost people that any believer, new or mature, can begin implementing immediately.
  • A plan that could take a person from Sharing the Gospel to Starting a Small Group to Launching a Church in short order.
  • Continuity of training with missionaries overseas. Made to Multiply will get you ready to work in some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places. The 411 Model utilized is used by many IMB teams and other partner mission agencies.
  • Helpful to churches of all sizes in jump-starting or reinvigorating evangelism in our changing culture.
  • One-day training. Usually a Saturday. No curriculum. All you need is a Bible and a sheet of blank copy paper for each person. (Can be taught in other formats. Contact our team if you’re interested in designing a training specific to your church).
  • The only cost for a church to host maybe lunch.
There are four Made to Multiply Trainings scheduled this Fall:

Lane Corley
Hello! I began working as a Church Planting Strategist for Louisiana Baptists in 2013. I'm honored to serve church planters around the state so that we can all lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. I love to enjoy the great Louisiana outdoors by gardening in the spring, hunting in the fall and playing catch with my two sons all year!
