Worship plays a primary role in the local church, unifying the congregation to lift praise unto the Lord. Regardless of whether you have a worship band, choir, praise singers and a full time worship leader, or if it’s just you picking out some hymns to play and sing before the sermon, you, the worship leader, are key to leading the congregation to worship God together. Leading worship is a teachable skill.
Louisiana Baptists, in partnership with local churches across the State, have joined together to provide teaching videos to train worship teams. A worship advisory team was recruited to gather and formulate a strategic plan to assist and provide videos filled with practical advice for worship leaders of all church sizes. Additional videos will be offered periodically.
