Ministry & Accountability, It Goes Without Saying…Or Does It? It sounds good, reasonable and biblically correct, but are we skipping steps that make this a more difficult combo? Ministry requires us to be personally responsible and while the Church is not a business, there is the business of the church…that allows no mutual exclusivity between the two. How can we bring ministry and accountability into unity?Guest Speaker: Catherine Hall
Catherine has served Louisiana Baptists as a Ministry Assistant for the Evangelism/Church Growth Team for eight years. Previously, she ministered in the local church through various positions, including assistant to the Sr. Pastor, Staff Evangelist, Sunday School and Women’s ministries plus worked in the corporate world of event planning and marketing. She is the mother of three sons and 2 bonus children; husband Will is Louisiana Baptists’ Executive Editor of the Baptist Message and Director of Public Policy.Session: Evangelism—It’s Personal, Not Private—Every child of God has a testimony, an intimate experience which occurred when each of us surrendered to Jesus as Lord and Savior. It ranks as the most powerful transformation in our lives! Yet instead of proclaiming it from the mountaintops, too often we keep it to ourselves. We have a calling! Every personality type can freely share the Gospel, let’s embrace the opportunities!
