Trevor Talbert

Pastor Trevor Talbert is a native of Fenton, La., and the eldest of 5 siblings. Pastor Talbert was baptized at an early age at the Greater St. Joseph B.C (formerly Rose Hill B.C.) founded by his great-great-grandfather Rev. Joseph Talbert. He began preaching at the age of 9 under the tutelage of his great-grandfather the late Rev. C. F. Talbert, Sr.  
Pastor Talbert moved to Houston, TX with his family where he was brought into fellowship with the Progressive Baptist Church and Pastor Calvin Keith Branch who later licensed and ordained him. 
Upon graduation Pastor Talbert attended Louisiana State University-Eunice prior to enlisting into the U.S. Air Force. He has served as a combat engineer and nurse in Missouri, Las Vegas, Virginia, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. 
Upon receiving an honorable discharge from active duty Pastor Talbert enlisted into the Air Force Reserves and pursued a career in law enforcement before returning to healthcare. Pastor Talbert was called to the Historical St. Paul Baptist Church of Kinder, LA in Sept. 2017 where he currently serves as senior pastor.
