Buddy Manning

I was saved at the age of 11 at FBC Jonesville, where Bro. J.O. McNair was pastor then. In my teenage years was active in a youth witnessing choir called the One Way Singers, we traveled throughout the area singing and testifying about Jesus.
Later I married my high school sweetheart June 21, 1974. I became member of Utility Baptist Church then and we have been there ever since. Through the years we worked with our children thru youth and was active in summer camps for them. I have served in all area of the church, deacon, Sunday school teacher and was licensed to the ministry in 2001. Mostly I did supply work as I was working rotation in the oil industry and was away from home half of the time. In 2007 I established a mission program in memory of my brother who had died suddenly. For about five years we worked in Honduras building churches, we would go twice a year for one-week trips. Later we focused on mission work here at home and worked with Jacob Crawford building wheelchair ramps in the Cottonport area. We would also do children ministry while we were there. Recently retired, our mission now is to replant this Church.
