- Historical information in many forms to help the researcher in tracing their church history
- Indexed categorized lists of the archive materials are available on request
Some churches do or would like to have a library to assist the programs directors and church members. There is resource information to help establish or revamp a church library. For on-site assistance, a state consultant is available. Please contact the Louisiana Baptists archives to secure these services.
The Archives is located on the 3rd floor of the Louisiana Baptists Building. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (closed 12:00-1:00). Please call to make an appointment as sometimes the facilities are closed. Please provide as much research information as possible, such as dates, places, surnames, to aid in faster more thorough search of our resources.
