A Cooperative Listening Tour
Our way forward is to stay TOGETHER in Cooperation!
It is time to think more seriously and strategically about our cooperation moving forward, specifically in our commitment to the 100-year-old plan that we call the Cooperative Program.
Dr. Steve Horn and other Louisiana Baptists leaders met with many pastors, association leaders and other Louisiana Baptists at one of approximately 40 listening sessions around the state. Discussion focused on the following:
What can we do better?
What are we committed to doing moving forward?
What should we be doing that we are not doing?
What are we doing that Louisiana Baptists want us to stop doing?
Where have we lost trust in this cooperative endeavor to do more together than we can do by ourselves?
“We may not be at a crisis, but we are certainly at a crossroads.”
Dr. Steve Horn

Thanks to all that attended our Listening Tour. It was great to hear from each of you and to make a personal connection with so many who are passionate about ministry here in Louisiana. Pray for our team as we process all that we’ve heard and plan for the future. You’ll hear more from our leadership soon.
