The Louisiana Baptists Office of Public Policy is partnering with the Louisiana Family Forum to give you an opportunity to network with other Christian leaders in order to build relationships and to learn about what has taken place during the early days of the legislative session.
Speakers will give updates on state and national events relating to Christian life and ministry in the public square, and, also highlight policy initiatives and special legislation that will be pursued that reflect Louisianans’ Christian values and vision.
Following the legislative briefing, a working lunch (free) will be provided with a message presented by special guest speaker Ken Blackwell, FRC Senior Fellow for Family Empowerment. Blackwell served as the Ohio Secretary of State from 1999 to 2007 and is a strong voice for criminal justice reform.
In addition, a host of legislative guest presenters will be in attendance, including Rep. Mike Johnson, Rep. Rick Edmonds, Attorney General Jeff Landry, and Treasurer John Kennedy. Governor John Bel Edwards has been invited, too.
