This session will equip you to study the Bible on your own—leading to significant spiritual growth—through this quick yet effective approach to Bible study. Leader: Katie Orr

Scripture Memorization
– Do you want to have more of God’s Word hidden in your heart, but you’re not sure where to start? Come join April as she teaches her favorite techniques on how to memorize Scripture. She will also give instruction on how to help children memorize Scripture in fun and exciting ways. Leader: April Rodgers

Do You Want to be Happy?

The Discipleship Distinctive

Personal Development

Send a Message: In our age of social media and smart phones, people are bombarded with messages every single day. So how do we break through all the noise? Join us as we unpack practical ways to connect and communicate with the women in our churches and communities. Leader: Merritt Johnson (Offered 1 time)

Emotions and Spirituality
– “I don’t feel right today. Am I really saved?” “I am angry because she took advantage of me! I must not be a very good Christian.” “I love to raise my hands and get excited in worship. I must really be spiritual!” Do you ever find yourself trying to compare your spirituality by your emotions? Can your emotions be trusted as a standard for measuring how spiritually mature you are? Did you know that Jesus expressed emotions such as anger, grief, and discouragement? This breakout session will focus on biblical concepts for how emotions interact with spirituality. Leader: Judy Patrick

Stand by Me: Women Mentoring Women – Women need one another! The older women are called to mentor younger women in Christian discipleship and in the general matters of life. In this session you will learn basics for starting a mentoring ministry as well as ways to enhance your mentoring relationships as you offer yourself to one who is younger in the faith. Leader: Carolyn Fountain

Building a Gospel-Centered Women’s Ministry:
Women’s ministry today is in the midst of a paradigm shift that cannot be ignored. Women are busier than ever, yet most feel their constant effort is futile. Many women are hurting, yet they never seek help in order to keep up appearances. If ever there was a need for the good news, it is now. Join us as we unpack the needs of women today as well as how to build a ministry that is centered on the best ministry tool of all – the gospel. Leader: Merritt Johnson (Offered 2 times)

Not Your Mama’s Women’s Ministry: Learning to Bridge the Generational Gap:
No one would argue that generational differences exist in our culture today, but God is calling each of us to bridge the generational gap and invest in the future of His church. In this session, we will unveil the principles of Titus 2 that give us the direction we need to break down age barriers within our churches and communities. Learn creative ways to engage the hearts and minds of today’s young women and how to develop an effective multigenerational women’s ministry. Leader: Merritt Johnson (Offered 1 time)

Women’s Missions AND Ministry ALIVE: Fresh ideas for making disciples:
Whether your church has an organized women’s ministry/WMU/Women on Mission or none of the above, God has called you to make disciples. Come find fresh ideas for partnering with other women to reach people for Christ within the walls of your church, throughout your community, and around the world. Leaders: Cyndi Nunn and Nicole Walker

Be the Light
– A Light is most noticeable in a dark environment. Our teen girls have a tremendous possibility to be a light for the Lord in their schools, families, sport teams, youth groups and on social media. In this class, which is really good for those who work with teen girls, we will discuss ways we can equip and encourage our teen girls to “Be The Light” in every aspect of their lives. Leader: Jasmine Hoychick

Intentional About Girls Ministry

These principles include: how to create and stick to a budget; build wealth; create a plan to get out of debt; set financial goals; and, increase earnings. Leader: Kem Washington

Encouraging Your Husband As The Spiritual Leader In Your Home
– Spiritual leader refers to the person responsible for the spiritual welfare of the family. This person oversees the nurture and education of the family regarding biblical teachings. The spiritual leader accomplishes this task by physical presence, by conversation, and by living a Christ-honoring life. Do you support your husband in ways that helps him want to exemplify Christ in the home? Often, as wives, we expect our husbands to be spiritual leaders; but what do we do to encourage husbands as spiritual leaders? This breakout session is not about “fixing” our husbands. This breakout session is about “encouraging” our husbands. Leader: Judy Patrick
