Children in Action is a dynamic WMU Missions organization for girls and boys in grades 1-6. By using Children in Action materials, a leader can guide younger and older children in mission’s experiences that build foundations for coming to faith in Christ and living missional lives.

Children in Action encourage children to explore missions and to participate in missions projects. Through Children in Action, children:

  • Learn what the Bible teaches about missions
  • Learn what God is doing through missions and missionaries today to help others come to saving faith
  • Experience missions through hands-on mission projects
  • Participate in missions by praying for missions and missionaries
  • Begin to explore their own relationship with Christ and come to know Him as Lord and Savior
  • Ways to demonstrate Christ’s love to others
  • A biblical worldview and how God is working around the world
  • Their part of God’s plan
