Women on Mission
Women, ages 18 and up, live out God’s plan for their lives as they become aware of needs around them and take steps to meet those needs through prayer, acts of compassion (mission action), giving to support the work of missions and ministries and intentionally learning how God’s work is done locally, in their state and North America and around the world.
Women on Mission (for all women) provides ongoing missions discipleship for women. As adults participate, they:
- Regularly reach out to the lost and hurting through compassion ministries/mission action, both inside and outside their communities, that not only meets physical needs but give opportunity to share the Gospel verbally and lead to salvation
- Study what the Bible teaching about God’s Mission and our part in that mission, discuss what God is doing through Southern Baptist missionaries in North America and around the world
- Develop spiritually through personal missions devotions and prayer
Give sacrificially to further God’s work through the Cooperative Program, the Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions
